Our Promise
We bring you back to the things you love!
Our clinic is well known for the integration of advanced technologies into everyday therapy with the largest selection of computer- and robotic-assisted therapy equipment in Europe (Lokomat, Erigo, DDrobotec System Elite, Armeo Spring / Power, Ekso Bionics, etc.).
Upon your arrival, a senior physician will develop an individualized therapy plan tailored to your personal needs and preferences. You will then receive your individualized daily therapy plan (Monday through Saturday). Our rehabilitation specialists will evaluate your plan on a weekly basis and adjust it as needed.
Multiple Sclerosis
For many years, our staff has been highly specialized in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. In our Multiple Sclerosis Treatment Program, patients receive up to 6 individualized therapy sessions per day (30 to 45 minutes per session) to achieve their rehabilitation goals. The therapy programs are tailored to the patient and planned together with the patient and their family.
Stroke Recovery
Time is of the essence in stroke rehabilitation. The first few months after a stroke offer a unique window of opportunity when the brain is most receptive to healing and adaptation. Acting quickly can make a significant difference in restoring movement, speech and cognition, while delays can make recovery more difficult. Depending on the severity of your symptoms, our early rehabilitation unit may be the best place to start your rehabilitation.
We recognize that the severity of a stroke and its complications vary greatly from person to person. Our holistic approach combines world-class medical expertise with a comprehensive range of therapies, all under one roof in our private clinic. Each patient benefits from a personalized treatment plan developed by our dedicated team of neurologists, therapists and rehabilitation specialists to ensure the best possible outcome.
Parkinson’s Disease
Our Parkinson’s Center offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program tailored to Parkinson’s patients. A specialized team of physicians, nurses, and therapists with many years of experience in treating Parkinson’s patients will welcome you. The goals of inpatient treatment are to improve quality of life, achieve lasting control of key symptoms such as slowness of movement or muscle tension, manage activities of daily living, improve safety of movement, and achieve targeted control of accompanying symptoms. We assess your individual needs and treatment goals with the involvement of your family.
Early Rehabilitation
After treatment in an acute hospital, early neurological rehabilitation enables our patients to train their everyday skills at an early stage. If the patient’s condition still requires close medical monitoring, our patients benefit from the many years of experience and extensive expertise of Rehaklinik Zihlschlacht.
The cognitive and somatic early rehabilitation program at the Zihlschlacht site treats patients with severe physical and mental impairments in an interdisciplinary care team. If appropriate progress is made, patients can be transferred to subsequent neurological rehabilitation.
For patients on artificial ventilation, weaning from ventilation is a central task of our specially trained team in the Bodan early rehabilitation ward. This ward has recently been recognized by the IG-IMC as an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit. It is equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring and ventilation devices and has highly qualified staff with experience in intensive care. Thanks to our diagnostic equipment and close cooperation with referring physicians and specialist disciplines on the Münsterlingen hospital campus, we can respond quickly and appropriately to any deterioration in a patient’s condition. The Bodan ward is closely integrated into the medical and organizational processes of the Rehaklinik Zihlschlacht. Once their condition is stable enough, our patients can continue their rehabilitation in Zihlschlacht.
