Discover Switzerland’s Alps
Anyone who visits Switzerland should not miss an excursion into the mountains. A day trip to the Jungfraujoch or Mt. Titlis – surrounded by perpetual snow and ice at over 3,000 metres above sea level – is a truly breathtaking experience. On the Rigi, Stanserhorn and Pilatus, too, on clear days visitors can delight in the magnificent panoramic views over the surrounding mountain peaks, lakes and valleys.

Jungfraujoch
Unforgettable excursion to the magnificent world of the Jungfraujoch – the Top of Europe, designated by UNESCO as a natural “World Heritage Site of the Swiss Alps”.
A guided tour in a comfortable motor coach will take you to the splendid mountain world of the Bernese Oberland. After a short stay in Interlaken, travel in a modern cogwheel train up to “Kleine Scheidegg”, situated right at the foot of the world-famous Eiger North Face.
Continue on to the Jungfraujoch – the highest train station in Europe at 11,300ft a.s.l. Enjoy the amazing world of eternal snow and ice, visit the ice palace and experience the breathtaking panorama of the Aletsch Glacier (Europe’s longest ice river) and the soaring peaks of the neighboring countries. Four restaurants are available for refreshments.
The trip back down to the valley takes you to the typical mountain village of Grindelwald, where the motor coach is ready to take you back to Zurich.
The Jungfraujoch lies high in the mountains, so please do not forget to bring closed footwear, a warm sweater and sunglasses.

Mount Titlis
Adventure excursion to the Titlis glacier paradise (9,900ft a.s.l.) combined with a visit to Lucerne.
Guided trip in a comfortable deluxe motor coach, including a fascinating ride in a cable car up to the high-Alpine glacier region. Enjoy the gorgeous panorama view from the 360º rotating “ROTAIR” gondola, the world’s first rotating cable car that takes you up to Mt. Titlis – a glacial paradise at 9,900ft a.s.l. with snow and ice all year long.

You will have two hours to experience the breathtaking panorama of the Alpine world or treat yourself to a delicious meal in one of the mountain restaurants.

Further attractions included in the tour are (weather permitting) a visit to the glacier cave, a trip over glacier crevasses in the “Ice Flyer” glacier chairlift or sledding fun in the snow with the “Fun Lift” (available in summer as well).

The return journey includes a stop in Lucerne (approx. 1 hour), where you can take a short tour of the city and cross the famous Chapel Bridge, Lucerne’s landmark.

Mount Pilatus
Excursion to Lucerne and up Mt. Pilatus (6,995ft a.s.l.). Includes a cogwheel train ride and boat cruise in summer.
This journey takes you over the Albis Pass and along Lake Lucerne to the city of Lucerne for a short city tour of the main sights and a visit to the Lion Monument. There will also be time for individual sightseeing.
The tour continues to the next highlight: travel with the panorama gondola and cable car up Mt. Pilatus (6,995ft a.s.l.) – a forbidden mountain in the Middle Ages.
From the viewing platform at Pilatus Kulm, you will have a magnificent panorama view of the surrounding mountains and lakes.
Journey back down with the world’s steepest cogwheel train (48% incline), and then enjoy a pleasant boat cruise on Lake Lucerne back to Lucerne.

Rigi
Visit Mt. Rigi, one of Switzerland’s most popular excursion destinations. The different transportation methods you will use make this excursion a true adventure.
You will travel over the Albis Pass to Weggis, and then take a cable car to Rigi Kaltbad and reach Rigi-Kulm (5,900ft a.s.l.) with Europe’s first cogwheel train. Enjoy a lovely view of the Swiss Midlands and a stunning Alpine panorama.
In winter, it is possible to enjoy a sleigh ride as well (optional).
Then, you will descend to the valley with the cogwheel train to Vitznau, from where a relaxing boat cruise (1 hour) will take you back to Lucerne. There, you can explore the city on your own.
The trip up Mt. Rigi (from Weggis), the ride down to the valley (to Vitznau) and the boat cruise are unaccompanied by a tour guide, but you will receive printed literature and explanations beforehand from your guide.

Stanserhorn
Fascinating bus ride from Zurich via the Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the city of Lucerne. Short city tour with a visit to the Lion Monument and the main sights of this charming city. Free time to explore on your own before continuing by bus to Stans.
From there, you will embark on the enjoyable ride in the original old-timer cable car over flower-filled meadows to the valley station of the world’s first CabriO open-deck cable car. Its open-air upper deck is an absolute innovation in cable-car technology. Enjoy the breathtaking panorama view and invigorating fresh air during the unforgettable ride to the top of the Stanserhorn (1,900m). At the top of the mountain, you will be greeted by a magnificent view of 10 lakes, 100km of Alpine peaks and three different countries. Experience the pristine nature of the Swiss Alpine world during a short hike and watch the marmots playing in their special park on your way to the summit. Treat yourself to local specialities in the Rondorama rotating restaurant (optional). Cable car back down to Stans and train journey (approx. ½ hour) to Lucerne.
Explore the historic Old Town before heading back to Zurich in the late afternoon. Multilingual tour guides until Stans and for the return journey from Lucerne. You will be given a detailed trip programme with timetable for the unaccompanied segment.

Mountains, Cheese and Chocolate
Unforgettable excursion to a beautiful, idyllic region of Eastern Switzerland.

Drive on the panoramic highway along beautiful Lake Zurich to the Lindt Chocolate Shop where a great shopping opportunity awaits you. Buy some of the most delicious Swiss Chocolates at best conditions.
The journey continues to Rapperswil, well known for its medieval castle and on to the green and hilly region of Appenzell. In Stein you will visit the cheese factory where the famous Appenzeller cheese is made. Learn more about the cheese making and the ancient traditions of this typical region.
Continuation via the picturesque village of Appenzell to Brülisau. Here you start the ride with the aerial cable car to the peak of the Panorama Mountain “Hoher Kasten” (1,800m / 6,000ft). Enjoy the fascinating view over the gently rolling hills of the Appenzellerland, the Rhine Valley and the Vorarlberg (Austria). Take a walk through the Alpine Garden and visit the spectacular revolving restaurant (Lunch excl.).
After this unique experience a guided walk through the small town of Appenzell awaits you. The pedestrian zone with its beautiful facades invites you for a stroll or some shopping during your time at leisure before heading back to Zurich.
